  little leaves
little leaves - the sun's small flower
aborted babies - "suck my cock"
written on a wall beside a bus stop,
cars that won't start
the smile of a friend you have not seen for
longer than you know how to count
beds that are clean and warm
the alarm clock at 7am after a big
night out

diving into a river where stones are slippery
and the mud sweet
things you've done before
that bore you to tears

moments where the mind floats
high and far above your expectations
dogs that stop their busy stride for a pet

Nice one. Bit of shock value at the start, until the bus stop line puts it in context and makes it seem less like a tourettes outburst!

Yeah, I guess that is the rhythm of it. It ain't all good, but all these bits are life. Sometimes the shocking things are as epiphanous (I don't think that is a word) as the sunny moments.

I have thought about taking some bits out, like the "aborted babies" bit, but can't really think of an adequate replacement.

The "suck my cock" bit stays.

it's about time for another one - yes?
